Celadon glaze is known for its jade green hue, which varies in intensity depending on the firing and application of the glaze. On this Qing Dynasty dish it acquires a beautiful olive-green finish. During the Qing Dynasty, pottery production reached a high level of sophistication. Longquan products were especially appreciated both in China and abroad, being exported to several countries.
