This Louis XV style armchair follows 18th century Venetian rococo models in its structure. Thus, it has a stuccoed wooden frame painted in a greenish-blue tone with hand-decorated floral bouquets. The entire profile of the chair is embellished with scrolls and gilded vegetal motifs. The splat-style backrest is openwork and has a central carved ribbon. The armrests end in scrolls, and the entire chair is raised on generous cabriole legs with prominent knees. The skirt has mixtilinear forms.
