Measurements: 50 cm (diameter).
Large terracotta bowl of cylindrical shape, with the surface decorated with fine geometric motifs, rests on a base formed by a set of bulbous protuberances.
Zande is a Central African ethnic group that spreads across the Nile-Congo watershed and live partly in South Sudan, partly in the Democratic Republic of Congo and partly in the Central African Republic. They are excellent craftsmen of iron, clay and wood.
