Art Nouveau tapestry by the Parisian Eugène Grasset, representing a spring party, animated by young maidens and children frolicking in a lush meadow. Grasset participated with this type of tapestry in the 1900 Paris Universal Exposition. Eugène Grasset was a French illustrator, decorator, sculptor and painter of Swiss origin of the Belle Époque, pioneer of modernism.
