Château de Beaucastel is a magical place, surrounded by hills planted with vineyards, centuries-old olive trees and truffle oaks. Here nature is flourishing, liberated and at ease. Old vines with knotted roots are nurtured in the traditional "gobelet" style in the typical soil of the region, loaded with large round pebbles. When the Mistral, the legendary wind of the Alps, blows, it whistles through the Rhone valley cooling the vines and revealing the aromas of the Garrigue. It has the southern accent of those who live here in harmony with the Mediterranean climate. It is in these ancestral soils, which support the 13 grape varieties of Châteauneuf du Pape, that each new vintage of Beaucastel is born.
