The 2000 vintage is a fully ripe expression, revealing smoky, soft red fruits and notes of porcini mushrooms, complemented by tobacco and black currants.
Located in Pessac-Léognan, Château Haut-Brion is one of the original five Premier Crus of the 1855 Bordeaux wine classification. Formerly called Château Bahans Haut-Brion, it was renamed Le Clarence de Haut Brion as of the 2007 vintage.
