Royal Salute was created to mark the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953, who has a long affinity with polo, the sport of kings. In celebration of shared values with the noble game of skill, honor and grace, Royal Salute has brought this iconic pairing to life through a limited edition collection. The Snow Polo Edition is the third in the series and is inspired by the greatness and style of this sport. The tournament is a spectacle of breathtaking scenes, from the scenery of majestic snow-capped mountains to the sophisticated soirées held in the luxurious surroundings. Attracting spectators from all over the world, snow polo is undoubtedly the highlight of the winter season. The Snow Polo Edition by Royal Salute is the result of 21 years of maturation in high-quality oak barrels and pays tribute to the purity of the snow, the spirit of the game and the elegance of the environment. It is the first blended grain Scotch whiskey in the range and the result is a distinctively sweet and rich expression, with elegant layers of rich vanilla and toffee flavours, and a long, smooth finish. The mixture is made with a special alcohol content that allows it to be best enjoyed with fresh ice to release the depth of flavors.
