This wine was Gold Medal in the 2020 edition of the Decanter World Wine Awards and selected in the 'Top 10 Best Tempranillos' by the same publication. The bottle presents a new image and name for Valduero's Gran Reserva, which is now called 2 Racimos (2 Bunches), because that is exactly the amount of Tempranillo grapes selected from each vine for its careful elaboration. Valduero is a family winery and one of the first to be founded in the D.O. Ribera del Duero, around 1984. It was created by Gregorio García Álvarez in Gumiel de Mercado. Yolanda García Valduero, daughter of the founder and agronomist engineer redefined the winery.
