Founded in 1870, Bodegas Torres has a centenary tradition of five generations dedicated to winemaking. Although it was originally founded in Vilafranca del Penedès, it currently sells wines from different Spanish appellations, as well as owning wineries and vineyards in Chile and California. This international projection dates back to the 19th century, when Torres wines gained great prestige outside Spain, in places as far away as Cartagena de Indias, Santiago de Cuba, Veracruz, Bremen, Hamburg and St. Petersburg.
