Painting of great expressive force, which seems to inherit the wake of the expressionism of Die Brücke and the blue period of Picasso. Thus, the two female figures, silent and withdrawn into themselves, one leaning on the lap of the other, transmit a mysterious warmth, similar to the female nudes of Ludwig Kirchner, sober and distant, resolved with great economy of lines and giving the color of plastic and symbolic intention.
