Persian hand-knotted rug, with a beautiful design of peacocks and other animals (deer, rabbits, birds, sheep) and vases. These carpets are knotted in the holy city of Ghom, in central Persia. The material used for their production is silk, which makes them thin and compact. They are very well elaborated and, in some cases, are decorated in great detail.
