Trained in Germany and Carrara (Italy), Anke Blaue soon began her studies with Philip Pavia, an important representative of New York abstract expressionism. She lived in Italy from 1985 to 1988, and then returned to her native Germany to study at the Academy of Fine Arts in Düsseldorf. He continued his studies with Bruno Fonseca (Torres-García School of Universal Constructivism) in Barcelona, where he moved to. Throughout his career as an artist he has exhibited his work in Spain (where he has had solo exhibitions at the Pigment Gallery, the Mariita Segovia Gallery and Artur Ramon, among others), Germany, USA, Switzerland and France. He currently lives and works in Germany.
