Painter, engraver and sculptor, Pepe Yagües was trained at the School of Arts and Crafts in Murcia and at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Granada. In 1991 he obtained a scholarship from the Ministry of Education, and in 1992 he graduated from the Faculty of Valencia and was awarded a prize by the Cañada Blanch Foundation. In the following years, successes and projects followed, and since 1997 he has participated assiduously in the Madrid fair Arco. Yagües has held exhibitions in Spain and abroad, and is represented at the Museo del Grabado Español Contemporáneo in Marbella, the Cruz Herrera, the Adra in Almería, the Municipal in Valencia, the Museo del Grabado in Orense, the Postal and Telegraphic Museum in Madrid, the Calcografía Nacional and the Casa Natal de Goya in Zaragoza.
