This domain, owned by the descendants of the Marquis of Riscal, has always been a pioneering company and an emblematic brand in the Spanish wine market. In 1858, it was the first winery in Rioja to make wine using Bordeaux methods. Today, its wines are exported to more than 70 countries around the world. It is the paradigm of Rioja excellence. Marqués de Riscal is the oldest and most traditional winery in La Rioja. Its pioneering, innovative and non-conformist character introduces French winemaking techniques. It was, in fact, awarded the Diploma of Honor at the XIII Bordeaux Exhibition in 1895. Always one step ahead of the rest, it paves the way, but without forgetting traditions.
The images of each lot are the actual images of the object and therefore form part of the cataloguing. Thus, the buyer accepts that the condition of the wines is shown in the images and/or in the cataloguing, and that the content and fragility of the cork and the seal are not the responsibility of Setdart Auctions.
