Vicente Ruiz "El Soro" is a famous Spanish bullfighter born in Valencia in 1962. From a young age he showed his passion for bullfighting and made his debut as a novillero in 1983. He received his alternative as a matador in 1987 in his hometown from Antoñete.
El Soro stood out for his elegant and courageous technique, becoming a reference in bullfighting during the 80's and 90's, especially in the Plaza de Toros de Valencia, where he won the affection of the public. Despite suffering several injuries, he retired temporarily and then returned to the bullring, again receiving the support of his fans.
Throughout his career, El Soro has been loved for his affable character and his closeness with the fans, consolidating himself as one of the great figures of bullfighting in Spain.
