ROLEX Shock Resisting watch, ref. 3854. Serial No. 123XX. Year ca. 1946. Steel.
Round polished steel case with straight lugs, silver dial with full Arabic numerals in black, chemin de fer perimeter minute track and outer minute indexes. Blued leaf-type hands and central seconds hand in gold. ROLEX" inscription under 12 o'clock and "SHOCK RESISTING" at 6 o'clock. Hand-wound mechanical movement. Domed acrylic crystal. Snap crown. Smooth screw-down case back. Black leather strap with generic buckle, not original. It works.
Measurements: 30 mm (case diameter without crown); 37 mm (lugs to lugs).
