Wristwatch HERMÈS Cape Cod large model. Ref. CC3. 710. Nº 33470XX. For ladies/unisex.
Rectangular stainless steel case. Square mother-of-pearl dial with eight chatons with diamonds as numerals and Roman numerals on the quarters. Anti-reflective sapphire crystal. Fluted crown at 3 o'clock. Quartz movement. Brown leather strap with Hermès buckle.
Measurements: 37 mm (height from lugs to lugs) 29 x 29 mm (case); 37 x 31 mm (case with lugs and crown).
It was in 1991 when Hermés asked Henri d'Origny to create a square watch, but he had a personal preference for rectangles. Consequently, Cape Cod turned out to be a square watch in a rectangle, with a box shape and a brand font inspired by the Chaîne d'ancre motif.
