This splendid table clock stands out both for its partially visible machinery and for its perpetual character. Four lentil legs support a porphyry base with sharp edges. Part of the clock's structure rests on it, protected by a case embellished with scrolls in relief. From this box emanates a vertical structure that supports two large dials: one of them indicates the time while the other shows the day of the week (in French), the day of the month and the month of the year (also in French). A third smaller dial, located between the two, serves as the seconds hand. The upper half of the watch consists of a zodiacal and concentric calendar dial, which supports a markedly vertical shaft that culminates in a last dial for the correction of the advance or delay of the movement.
