Needs a machine overhaul. Missing pendulum.
Measurements: 49 x 31 x 11 cm.
Table clock of French manufacture and Napoleon III period. Made entirely in gilded bronze, except for the dial, it is decorated with a sculpture of a nun reading the Bible next to a chapel. The young devotee is dressed in a simple but refined attire. The sculptural group rises on a double pedestal decorated with scrolls, borders and medallions in relief. The sphere is numbered with Roman numerals in black on white.
