Bovet Fleurier SA is a Swiss luxury watchmaking brand founded in 1822 in London by Édouard Bovet, famous for its pocket watches aimed at the Chinese market in the 19th century. Today, the brand produces high-end watches (ranging from $18,000 to $2.5 million) with a style that honors his legacy, noted for its artistic dials, engravings and seven-day tourbillon.

Bovet became known for its emphasis on the beauty of the movements, being among the first to showcase skeletonized and decorated mechanisms. It was also a pioneer in including a seconds hand. After the decline of the Chinese market in the 19th century and several acquisitions throughout the 20th century, the brand was revitalized in 1994 under new owners, and in 2001 was acquired by Pascal Raffy, who brought back its artisanal and luxury approach.

Today, Bovet produces some 800 watches a year, many of them one-of-a-kind pieces, and maintains a tradition of employing female artisans, a rarity in Swiss watchmaking. The brand is known for its exclusivity, limiting its advertising to private events for select clients.

**In the description of the watches when it is marked "in running condition" it means that the watch is in working order. Since collector's watches often have delicate and complex mechanisms, the buyer is responsible for any general service, overhaul, battery change, adjustment or repair that may be necessary. We do not guarantee the perfect functioning of any watch. All photographs of our watches are original and have been taken by our photographers, that is to say, we do not work with stock photography and that is why the photographs are considered part of the cataloging.
