Travel clock from the second half of the 19th century.
Bronze and bevelled glass.
In running condition.
With original key. It presents a break in the right side glass.
Measurements: 11 x 7.5 x 6 cm.
Travel or carriage clock with an architectural structure raised on a plinth, with frieze and balusters in smooth bronze, and with a handle placed in the upper area to allow its easy transport. The piece has a white dial with Roman numerals in black and a subsidiary dial at 6 o'clock. The front and side walls are made of bevelled glass, as are the oculus at the top and the hinged back door, which allows a view of the machinery. This type of watch was very common in the 19th century and was often used for travelling due to its size.
