The Montblanc Meisterstück 149 collection with gold finish is a design that has made history. The Meisterstück, introduced in 1924, is a work of art that has become the symbol of high quality luxury writing. The cap and barrel are crafted from precious black resin with the iconic white Montblanc emblem inlaid on the top of the cap. The fountain pen is adorned with a handcrafted rhodium-plated 18 K 750 gold nib.
The Montblanc firm was founded in 1906, and in 1913 was created the star that is its emblem and hallmark of the house. It is a round white star that represents the snow that covers the summit of Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Europe, and symbolizes the commitment of the brand as European manufacturers of objects of the highest quality and distinction.
