The original Sheaffer Crest fountain pen was launched by Sheaffer in the 1930s. It was the first Sheaffer pen with a metal cap.

This pen continues that tradition, being equipped with a gold-plated metal cap. The barrel is made of plastic with a brown marble finish. It is a cartridge or converter loading model. The pen features a fine 18-carat nib, in the conical shape that made Sheaffer iconic.
