Pelikan's limited edition Golf, also known as M816, was designed in 1995, but did not hit the market until 1996. It appears that Pelikan systematically stopped providing separate model numbers after this release. The green body is adorned with a pair of inlaid golf clubs surrounding a golf ball. I have seen reports that Pelikan did extensive testing of the finish, perhaps in response to problems with Hunting and Concerto, prior to the release. The standard gold-plated trim is seen here again. The nib is still two-tone 18-karat gold and the edition number is inscribed on the cap crown. The Golf was a limited edition of 2500 fountain pens.
