Pelikan is one of the most recognized brands in Europe in the world of fountain pens, with a long history dating back to 1832, when the company was founded in Hannover, Germany. The brand offers a wide range of pens, from entry-level models such as the M200 series to its flagship, the M1000. All Pelikan fountain pens maintain a classic style that makes them instantly recognizable.

The design of the Pelikan M- 101N Lizard is elegant and professional, with a vintage feel. The M101N series is comprised of special edition models that Pelikan produces for a limited time only. The design of these pens is inspired by models from the 1920s and 1930s, and the specific Lizard design has its roots in a historic model from 1937. The Lizard was launched in December 2012.

The M101N Lizard is a truly beautiful pen, with a stunning scale pattern in shades of gray and black on both the cap and body. The scale pattern is complemented by black accents (on the cap top, piston knob and grip section). In addition, it includes a gray ink window that matches the design and allows you to clearly see the level of ink remaining.

Gold would not have gone well with the black accents, so Pelikan opted for palladium trim on the double cap ring and clip. In addition, they abandoned the traditional two-tone nib to incorporate a rhodium-plated, single-tone 14-karat gold nib. All of these pieces combine perfectly, creating an elegant and beautifully crafted pen.
