Tibaldi's Spartacus series celebrates Rome's most famous gladiator with a limited edition of fountain pens and rollerballs in sterling silver and enamel. The cap and barrel of the pens are hand-painted, with bas-reliefs depicting scenes of gladiatorial combat. Details such as the "sword" shaped clip, a ring replicating the Colosseum and the end of the pen designed as the hilt of a sword, reinforce the gladiatorial theme. The pen, with a piston filling system, features an 18K gold tip engraved with a gladiator's shield.
