In 1970 Caran d'Ache launched the Madison collection, the first to include a fountain pen despite being a company that already had, at that time, 55 years of history. The incorporation of fountain pens could therefore be considered a late arrival, but since then it has been gaining ground to become the maximum exponent of a brand born as a pencil factory and today, more than 100 years later, a true benchmark in the sector of writing instrument manufacturers and a symbol of quality and good craftsmanship.
