Montblanc celebrates the 70th anniversary of one of the most talented artists who ever wrote the history of music.

Created in honor of a great musical legend: John Lennon, produced in black precious resin. In remembrance of his countless singles and albums, the lid and barrel have been engraved to resemble the grooves of a record. The platinum-plated clip is reminiscent of the neck of a guitar, paying homage to Lennon's most important instrument. This writing instrument is fittingly completed with an engraved self-portrait of its namesake and the Montblanc emblem on the cap.

Precious pen inspired by peace and freedom.Songs full of passion and creativity, compositions full of emotion and innovative spirit: John Lennon knew better than most musicians how to fascinate the public. His inspirational and emotional lyrics spoke from his soul to millions, and with revolutionary hits like Imagine or Give Peace a Chance he made musical history: these works provided a voice for an entire generation, whose only desire was peace and freedom.

The Montblanc firm was founded in 1906, and in 1913 the star that is its emblem and hallmark of the house was created. It is a round white star that represents the snow that covers the summit of Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Europe, and symbolizes the commitment of the brand as European manufacturers of objects of the highest quality and distinction.
