Chalice made of gilded silver, embossed and partially openwork, with the perfectly defined structure of stepped foot, shaft with shaft structure and cup with differentiated sub-cup typical of the silverware of this time. It is decorated with classicist vegetal motifs, including palmettes, scrolls and tornapuntas worked by embossing, chiseling, engraving and stamping.
The foot, circular and stepped, presents a mixtilinear profile, with curves and miters, emphasizing the differentiation of each of its parts, following an idea of structural clarity that is repeated in the rest of the piece, organizing it in horizontal layers. The shaft structure is composed of a lower reel, a central knot decorated with intertwined vegetal motifs and a second, more stylized and smaller reel in the upper zone. All these elements are delimited by very protruding moldings, emphasizing the aforementioned organization in layers. Finally, the sub-cup is low, rounded, delimited by vegetal decoration in the form of spikes.
