DESCRIPTION
Coffee set in 925 sterling silver. MENESES Composed of three pieces: coffee pot, milk jug and sugar bowl. Decorated in art deco style with bamboo handles. Contrasts on the base.
Founded in 1840 by Leoncio Meneses, the Plata Meneses firm soon positioned itself among the best Spanish silverware manufactures, and in 1875 it obtained the title of Supplier Society of the Royal Household. At the end of the 19th century it exported its pieces to America and the Philippines, achieving international prestige that was consolidated in 1910 with the diploma of honour at the Brussels Universal Exhibition.
