Signed, dated and titled on the back.
Measurements: 90 x 74 cm; 92 x 76 x 3 cm (frame).
In this composition, several figures of which we only see the Andean hats and punches form a compact group of figures inscribed in a green background. A menacing shadow hovers over them. It is a figurative painting but refined in its lines to the minimum expression, resulting in a composition of great chromatic strength and formal originality, besides hiding in its narrative a social commentary.
The painter Ernesto Zamalloa has exhibited several times in Lima, his hometown.
