Anca Raileanu is a self-taught painter, with more than 10 years of experience in painting on silk and acrylic. Specializing in the creation of abstract flowers, she adopts a focus on innovation and artistic expression. Her work evolved from a first period of painting on silk with abstract flowers and vehement colors, to a period of experimentation with acrylics, exploring new techniques and styles. She participates in events and exhibitions organized by the Amata Artisans Association, promoting local art and collaboration between artists. She is also committed to teaching and disseminating art through courses and community events, such as the silk painting course given at the Melia Villaitana hotel in Benidorm (summer 2023).

This painting by Anca Raileanu includes a painted bee in the lower right corner. Bees for the artist symbolize the suffering of the world, and she paints flowers as a response to that threat. Sometimes they are realistic flowers, other times they are diluted in abstraction. Her work oscillates between realism and abstraction because our life also passes between these two planes of existence, Anca tells us.
