Guillermo Oyáguez graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Madrid. He did artistic residencies in Slovenia and North Carolina. He has exhibited his work nationally and internationally all over the world. The artist himself writes in his blog: "Writing a text to explain my painting is as complicated as telling how I am, years go by and I remember thinking that age would give me answers to many questions, but I find that it is not so, I just let myself go and do not ask myself anything anymore, I like to travel and paint, is traveling a motivation to paint, or is painting to travel? Years ago I wrote "I don't know why I paint what I paint, nor what I say with what I paint, not even if I want to say something with what I paint, maybe if I knew I wouldn't paint it, that's why when I ask myself, I don't answer, and so I go on, without knowing why I paint what I paint, without knowing why I paint, but I paint".
