He has a degree in Art History from the University of Barcelona. Self-taught artist, who gives his works the quality of thought, makes his works in small format in the most diverse materials, using collage as did Kurt Schwitters and Joseph Cornell. Friend of Carlos Pazos, Luis Frnagella and Ramón Herreros, Bofarull is situated in the field of the lyric being his works incisive short poems in which he alludes to feelings, to emotions that do not fall into the literal. Manual poems that offer clues for a symbolic interpretation but in such a perverse way, since the degree of interiorization is so high, that in the end the one who interprets is the one who ends up portraying himself. From a casual appearance and a careful selection of details he transmits to the plastic language his warm, secret and meticulous environment. His individual exhibitions at the Galería Ciento, Barcelona (1988), Galería Masha Prieto, Madrid (1994), and his presence at the XIV Salón de los 16, Madrid (1995) stand out.
