DESCRIPTION
FRANCESC DOMINGO SEGURA (Barcelona, 1893 - São Paulo, 1974).

Measurements: 75 x 55 cm; 100 x 78 cm (frame).
It has slight flaws in the painting.
Francesc Domingo studied painting and engraving at the School of Fine Arts of Barcelona, and in 1918 he joined the Curbet Group. He traveled to Paris and Brittany and exhibited regularly at the Sala Parés. After the Civil War his position worsened, and he decided to emigrate to America in 1950. After passing through Buenos Aires, where he soon recovered his former economic position, he settled in São Paulo, Brazil. Domingo Segura's works can currently be found in the Museum of the Abbey of Montserrat and in the Provincial Museum of Fine Arts of Cadiz.
