Luis Maraver has lived in Mallorca since 1972. He has been awarded numerous prizes, such as: 1985 Premi Banca March, Santanyí, Mallorca. 1987 First Prize of the Contest Teatre Principal, Consell de Mallorca. First Prize of the VIII Painting Contest Vila de Santa Maria, Mallorca. 1988 First Prize of the XXVII International Contest of Pollença, Mallorca. 1993 Accèssit at the III International Competition Fundació Barceló, Palma, Mallorca. 2005 Premi d'Arts Plàstiques Xam, Palma, Mallorca. 2011 Premi Rotary Mallorca Arts Plastiques, Palma, Mallorca.
