German artist Gandalf Gavan graduated from Santa Fe High School in 1993. He then moved to Brooklyn and received his MFA in Visual Arts from Columbia University in 2005. She has worked and lived in many places, including Germany, Russia, Mexico, Peru, Bolivia, Morocco, New Mexico and New York. Her work has been exhibited widely in galleries nationally and internationally and in museums including PS1 MoMA-New York; MACO-Oaxaca, Mexico; the Cornell Fine Arts Museum at Rollins College-Winter Park, FL and the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes in Mexico City.
