Portrait of Japanese woman, represented in full body with traditional attire, wearing an elegant kimono formed by several layers in fabrics of different colors, so that it shines in emerald, pearly, turquoise and indigo tones, enhancing the exoticism of the character from the European point of view. The figure holds a fan of colorful pais with his right hand. The painting is resolved with a post-impressionist language, based on quick brushstrokes and pointillist touches.
