A self-taught painter, Antoni Sala Herrero cultivates a figurative style, close to Mediterranean landscape painting. He has shown his work mainly in Catalonia, holding individual exhibitions in the Nonell Galleries in Castellón (1973), the Rovira Gallery in Sabadell (1974) and La Pinacoteca in Barcelona, among others. He has obtained, among other distinctions, the Villa de Palamós Prize in 1969 and the National Society of Fine Arts of Paris.
