Isabelle de Kergal is a Peruvian artist who began her career in the plastic arts by training as a decorative artist specializing in porcelain at the École le Chambrelain in Paris, as well as at the Véronique Habrège workshop in Versailles. The Peruvian artist completed her training by learning easel painting at the Couleurs de Aix en Provence workshop, the Jean Sable school of decorative painting in Versailles and at the Louvre school in Paris. It must be said that the artist has also received private lessons from Gabriel Martín Roig. In Kergal's paintings the colors prevail over the drawing. We are talking about full, lively and energetic colors that are combined in a schematic mixture of warm and cold tones. We can detect in his paintings reminiscences of Van Gogh, Matisse or the Central European expressionists.
