Artist specialized in the realization of still lifes, his style is characterized by an agile brushstroke, treated from the use of colors that generally veer between grayish and cream tones. Also noteworthy is the focused lighting of his works, in which his objects receive a direct focus of light that prioritizes the main elements, making them more noticeable to the viewer. On this occasion, Català Alcón places the objects on a chair, on which he meticulously rests what looks like a wrinkled apron. On this surface rests a porcelain tea jug, as well as a glass bottle. The care of the textures, among which the sparkles of the glass and porcelain stand out, prevail over the neutral background, treated with a more simplistic character.
