Painter, engraver and teacher, born in Tynewydd, Glamorgan. He studied at Cardiff College of Art, from 1953 to 1957, and at the Slade School of Fine Art, from 1957 to 1956. He held various teaching posts, between 1961 and 1972 he was co-director of the Image Gallery, Leamington Spa and, from 1972, head of the Fine Art Department at Cardiff College of Art. A member of the 56 Group, he also exhibited with Young Contemporaries on several occasions, Howard Roberts Gallery, Cardiff, SEA and WAC. Solo exhibition at the Elizabeth Gallery, Coventry. Included in Welsh Painting for the 21st Century, Mall Galleries, 2001. University College, Aberystwyth, exhibits her acrylic Upfront. Lived in Cardiff, South Wales.
