"Clouds".

Mario Mollari was an Argentine painter and muralist, known for his figurative and expressionist art, focused on the identity and social reality of Latin America. He was one of the founders of Grupo Espartaco (1959-1968), a collective that promoted a revolutionary art inspired by Latin American roots and rejected cultural colonialism.

Self-taught, Mollari traveled to Europe in his youth, but soon realized that his true inspiration was in his homeland. In the 1950s, together with artists Ricardo Carpani and Juan Manuel Sánchez, he created Espartaco, which stood out for its social and political commitment. He painted several important murals, although some were destroyed in the context of the military dictatorship.

In the 1970s, his work achieved greater visibility, including the cover of the album Cantata Sudamericana by Mercedes Sosa. Despite the repression and exile of many of his colleagues, Mollari continued to work and exhibit in Argentina. His legacy is fundamental in the history of Argentine art.
