Painter, outstanding violinist and writer, Agudo settled in Ibiza before the imminence of the Civil War. There he taught drawing and painting at the School of Arts and Crafts, and it was then that he decided to study Fine Arts, after having focused so far on music. He trained in Valencia during the forties, and from then on he devoted himself almost exclusively to painting. He worked on landscapes and portraits, with a style strongly influenced by German romanticism. Technically, he gave great importance to drawing and composition, issues arising from his loyalty to the academic training he had received. He always used oil on canvas, wood or cardboard. Fond of small formats and description, his painting is full of detail, color and polished forms. His fantastic compositions are especially remarkable, in which the painter combines a series of dreamlike visions with religious questions, historical themes or legends. He is represented in the Museum of Contemporary Art of Ibiza.
