Martin Palusca was one of the founders of naïf art in Kova?ica; he painted with great precision and attention to detail. He showed the daily life of the people of his village with specific detail lent to the machines used when working in the fields. Therefore, his paintings show genre art, but also still life. He mainly used the technique of oil on canvas. In 1952 he became a member of the Naif Art Gallery.
