Son of the painter Jesús Navarro, Iban Navarro began his training in his father's workshop, specializing at a very young age in watercolor, a technique in which he experimented, combining it with other materials such as oil pastel and acrylic, thus achieving greater realism. One of his favorite subjects are boats, in the water or in the harbor, as well as figures resting in front of the sea. He is also an outstanding draftsman, trained in this discipline at the Joso Academy. He began his exhibition career in 2002, and since then he has participated in several group shows, held at the Top Art gallery in Barcelona (2003, 2004, 2005), Lance in Tokyo (2004) and Howard in Manchester (2004), as well as holding solo exhibitions in El Corte Inglés in Barcelona (2002, 2003), Madrid (2003, 2004, 2005), Valencia (2003, 2005) and Mallorca (2005). He has also had solo exhibitions at the Jorge Sorí Gallery in Miami (2008). He is currently represented in several private collections.
