Oil on canvas.

Measurements: 100 x 85 cm; 123 x 108 cm (frame).
Galician painter. Daughter and granddaughter of architects, since 1945 she spends seasons in Madrid, where she attends the studio of the painter Xulio Moisés, who gives her painting classes. At the end of this decade, she was a free student at the San Fernando School. In 1953 she began to participate in group exhibitions. She travels to Paris and discovers directly the masters of cubism: Picasso, Braque and Juan Gris. She also traveled to the Netherlands to become enthusiastic about Rembrandt and Vermeer; and Italy, where she became acquainted with the works of Mario Sironi and Giorgio Morandi. Her interest in mural painting led her to work in this technique, in an expressionist style of lyricism. In 1962 she won the critics' prize for her solo exhibition at the Athenian. In 1964 she married the painter Máximo de Pablo and won the April and Spanish Family awards, as well as a scholarship from the March Foundation. In the National Fine Arts of 1965 and 1967 she won the third and second medals, respectively. He will leave Madrid to settle in the Spanish Levante, in a town of salt mines and fishermen, but continues to visit the Spanish capital and his hometown regularly, where he has several exhibitions. He has works in the Museum of Contemporary Art in Madrid, in Galicia and in many others in Spain, Europe and America.
