The Valencian painter José Lull began his training at the School of Fine Arts of San Carlos in his hometown, to later extend his studies in Madrid, Paris, Munich and Amsterdam. Although he prefers not to take part in artistic competitions, he has been awarded distinctions such as the Gold Medal of the Italian Academy of Arts, Letters and Sciences, the appointment of Homo Electus Duchi d'Este by the Hede Academy of Ferrara, member Honoris Causa of the CDAP of Rome, the first international awards Venere de Milo and of the European Community of Fine Arts and other honors received in Spain, Italy and the United States. However, he has held exhibitions of his work, both in Spain and abroad, appearing in important galleries such as the Kunst Galerie of Bad Godesberg (Germany), the Saulenhalle of the University of Bonn, the Enmarvill and El Poliedro galleries in Caracas, the Glocken in Dusseldorf, the Bacardi in Miami and the Ming Yu in Tokyo. Works by José Llull are currently kept in the Museum of Fine Arts in Valencia, the Mariano Benlliure Museum in Crevillente, the Ponce Art Museum in San Juan de Puerto Rico, the Banco Atlántico collection, the Banco de Bilbao collection, the Hispanoamericano collection, the collections of the Valencia, Alicante and Murcia Savings Banks, the Badajoz Provincial Council, the Laval City Hall (France), the Ministry of Development in Caracas, the Miami City Hall, etc.
