Francesc Casademont i Mercader was trained in Barcelona, where he has had several solo exhibitions in galleries such as Kreisler and La Pinacoteca. His work does not look for sensationalism; he structures a slow, static and measured diction, which recreates itself in the infinite nuances of color or in the veiled atmosphere of the fog. His work arises from the simple contemplation of life, and reflects an iridescent nature, marked by points or moments of light that harmonize the chromaticism of the scene.
