He was a passionate advocate of abstract art, a style well recognizable in his work. In 1953 he participated in the International Congress of Abstract Art held at the Magdalene Palace in Santander. Among his most important paintings are the decoration of the Saló de Cent of the Ateneo de Valencia, the murals of the Instituto de Cultura Hispánica, and those of the Salón España in the Hall of Fame of the International College of Surgeon of Chicago. He published Constantes estructurales de la pintura in 1966. After his death the Círculo de Bellas Artes of Valencia dedicated a retrospective exhibition to him.
